Since I have never had to make one, the article on “Glass Claims” was VERY enlightening! It always amazes me how thieves can infiltrate every aspect of any industry.

Thanks for this very important information to your insured. I often see parking lot glass repair setups to quickly repair windshields and I have always been reluctant to have my windshield repaired even though it certainly needs repair due to the number of flying objects it has encountered over the past twenty years. When the little nicks and cracks spider web I will then have my windshield replaced by an authorized AARP Hartford Insurance recommended representative. I would never provide anyone in a parking lot with my insurance information or any personal information. And, definitely not sign any parking lot documents!!!

Thank you for very good information. I have made a copy of numbers to call and put it in my glove compartment. Most people’s normal reaction would be to sign the AOB thinking it is a good thing because there is no cost out of pocket but as you point out, this is not always true, if ever. Keep up the good work of keeping your customers informed.
